Pray for this young lady....
- T came to see us today. This is her second pregnancy. She has a nine month old. She is 16. She is estranged from her family, living with her boyfriend who was released from jail in July and pregnant with some else's baby. She told her volunteer peer counselor that he is physically abusive.
Two counselors worked with her today to formulate an action plan for her and her babys life. Here it is:
CALL her mother and reconcile with her. She loves her mother, but is angry that her mother does not like her boyfriend. It is essential that she mend this relationship before this baby is born in order to be safe!!
When the volunteer asked her where else she felt like she had support, T stated that she has not stopped reading the Bible we gave her when she came in for the last pregnancy. In fact, T tells others to read the Bible to get answers.
T is 18 weeks pregnant. She left today with the assurance that God has a plan for her life and that she is loved in this place.--Jane M., Pregnancy Center
