Week of Jan 31st 2010

C.&J.W.--My niece just called to tell me her granddaughter, Angel has been admitted to the Tippah County Hospital in Ripley, MS. She has a fever of 105 and they haven't been able to determine where it's coming from. Angel says she isn't hurting and doesn't feel bad. She is 5 and does know how to explain an "owie" . . . Please pray for this precious little girl.
C.P.--Gary is requesting prayer for his son's friend Reed who will be having brain surgery this Friday in Houston.
M.W.--Please pray for Walter and Sandi. They were involved in a vehicle accident last night on their way to appreciation dinner.

M.G.--I just read on Facebook, and Shawn posted he is cancer free!!! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. This is a true testament of Christ.
M.W.--Please lift up my 85-year-old cousin; she is diabetic, and her leg was amputated last week. She is not doing well today. Also pray for Onelda, who was due to have surgery this morning to remove a tumor wrapped around a kidney. Pray for all of us who are allergic to cedar to be migraine-free! Pray also for the Montanez family, who have a lot of difficulties at this time...husband in the hospital after car accident, awaiting new liver, for wife to have the strength to cope even after having to work fulltime.
R.O.--Prayer for my family while I am away. Safe Passage on my trip.
M.G.--S.M. undergoing testing for bone cancer. Pray for his family & the discovery of the illness that is causing pain. Drew--lyme disease & despair.

C.H.--Please add my coworker David and his wife to the prayer list, his wife has had lots of sickness and I heard her kidneys are failing. Please lift them up.
MW.--Pray for Nancy and Bill's kids; they have respiratory illnesses. Also, pray for Nancy and Bill....strength and divine protection!
M.G.--I write to you this evening with a heavy heart. I just found out my neighbor, Shawn, will be undergoing testing for possible bone cancer and tuberculosis. He has terrible pain in his side and a CT scan showed nodules in his lungs. His next appointment will be in the 25^th of January. He and his wife have been married for 16 or so years and share 3 kids. Please keep them in your prayers. Pray the tests come back negative and whatever is causing his pains to disappear. Lord, I pray in Jesus’ name.
M.W.--My cousin Santana did not recover after his second heart surgery. He died this morning. Please pray for the Morin Family as they grieve over his passing. Thank you.
E. Family--Please pray for Jenni's knee to heal.
S.H.--For Stephanie, who was diagnosed with hypothyroidism/Hoshnott's, that the doctors would find the right dose of medication. For Jason's back to heal and he can return to work! For the Haitians to have strength & faith. Thank you!

B.F.--Here's a Haiti update.
The Compassion Radio Disaster Relief Team was stranded at Opa Locka Airport in FL until today. First cargo plane had to be unloaded after discovering technical trouble. They've reloaded a DC-7 this afternoon and depart for Port Au Prince at 5pm Eastern time. They are carrying approximately 35k lbs. of medical supplies including pain meds, antibiotics, anesthesia and sterile gauze and instruments. Team includes orthopedic surgeons and EMT specialists. "As allot of you know my two boy's Victor & Cody were involved in a major accident last night on Kyle , due to another persons ignorance they both nearly lost their lives . Praise the Lord Cody is now home but Victor is still @ Brackenridge in Intermediate ICU ! He is stable but did require a plastic surgeon to come in and do some work on his eyelid.Due to him being as fragile as he is with his condition he has required blood transfusion and bone marrow as well .
Once again I ask that you remember my family in your prayer's and Thank Our Heavenly Father for watching over them ...."

Also please pray for my 3 yr old R.J. He had to get stitches today for busting his chin on a bowling ball. He also chipped some of his teeth and is having pain in his mouth. Please pray God eases his pain and his teeth can be fixed. Thanks

H.G.--Prepray and then pray for Heather's mom, who is going in for gallbladder surgery on Thursday.
C.W.--Would you please put RRJ on our prayer list? I was just on the phone with him for over an hour . . . we went to high school together and he is just very confused at this point in his life.
J.C.--Please join me and my family in prayer for my friends family in this time of sorrow. We are all mourning the lost of our oldest and dearest family friend Lillian Arroyo Fonceca who passed away yesterday she was only 55 years old; she leaves behind a 23 year old daughter a 16 year old son and twin boys who are l4 years old. She suffered three consecutive heart attacks on Christmas Morning and the last one was too much for her poor little body. We are all grieving for her family. My friend Lillian was a Born again Christian with a very sickly body. She will be missed everyone that knew her couldn't help but love her she was a very giving person with such kind and generous heart. She is at peace now for that we are grateful.
M.H.--That the plumbing in the new church is installed on time and I get more help!
E.W.--Please pray for my grandfather who recently passed. Pray that he made it home with Jesus Christ and that he will have mercy on him.
