Week of May 4th 2009

N.H.--I found out last night that a prior neighbor of ours was in an accident last Friday. Last night, they took him off of life support. I haven’t heard anything as of this morning. Please keep him, Efrain, his wife Bridget and their 2 yr old in your prayers. Also, a friend in OK found out her friend, Mike was in a motorcycle accident. He has lots of broken bones, lots of face injuries and they had to put a rod in his back to stabilize his spine. He was wearing a helmet but it was one of those ½ helmets. Thanks for lifting these up.

S.F.--Got a call from Elizabeth Guidry this morning and she was asking for prayer. She goes in at 10 am for a breast biopsy. She has a mass that the Dr.s are quite concerned about. She just found out this week that both of her 1/2 sisters have breast cancer, so this is cause for greater concern. I just found out that surgery will be on the 19th. If you could add me to the prayer list I would appreciate it.

Jen Williams-- Please pray for my grandmother, Ann, she's ready to go Home; told us that she thinks today is the day she'll see Jesus. Godspeed and peace.

Pastor Cole's granddad was admitted to the hospital today due to some internal bleeding from a bad combination of medicines. He was feeling very disoriented. As of Thursday night, they were performing tests.

T.L.--Please pray for my mother. She's been very sick the last few weeks. Please pray for comfort and peace for her as she is more critically ill than was first believed. (Please also pray for her daughter Tracy, who is hurting over her mother's terminal illness.)

S.F.--Please be in prayer for my sister. My mom called us at 2:45 this morning on the way to taking her to the ER. She's recovering from surgery last Thursday and was in a lot of pain during the night.

M.B.--Tracy and Terri LaFlair's mother has cancer and has been put in the hospital. Tracy asked me if you would put her on the prayer list. They are the ladies that do angelfood.

• M.G.--Alex, husband, is traveling to El Paso to see his dad, Alonso, who has a brain tumor. Going to Phoenix hospital for surgery.
• M.W.--For neighbors Kevin & Gracie, and their 7-month old dtr Isabella, who suffers frequent seizures and requires much medical attention. Pray for God to give them strength and for Isabella to receive healing from God. Also, for Kalai, who suffers from allergy-asthma. Pray for my brother-in-law, who is still here from Thailand, to raise the funds he needs for his orphanage. Pray for God's hedge of protection over my son Zeke in Florida, and for God to find favor for him with employment; and for my daughter Angie and family, who are in Georgia for a week...travel safety for all. Praise God that my migraines are diminishing some. Pray-Pray-pray for our President and his cabinet for God to give them wisdom in leadership, and for protection of our country and our troops everywhere.

Week of April 13th 2009

Samantha--Some of you may or may not know that I have had problems with my hip on and off for sometime and of course the that chiropractic office didn't help me any!!! I have been putting it off and putting it off out of fear, but I finally went to the doctor. Well, the good news is I do not need a hip replacement as I feared the worst! Bad news is I do have a torn labrum that needs to be repaired and need to have my hip bone reshaped I am scheduling an MRI with contrast directly in the hip. This will let me know better as to how soon I will need to have this surgery. I have been in SO much pain that I am awakened at night and cannot sleep on my left side. The pain has become horrific!!!! Now I really have become SAMONIC I am almost complete with my full body tune up!!! All in all if you would please start saying a prayer or two for me. It never hurts to start early Thank in advance!!!!

Melanie: prayer request for Mike and Bridget. They have a possibe complication with their pregnancy and could really use our prayers right now. Thank you so much.
