K.M.--We just found out today that my Sister's husband (Chip) has bladder cancer. Please keep them in your prayers. They are self employed and have no employees to fall back on. They live in San Antonio; and own a auto repair shop for small and large (18 wheelers) vehicles. Pray that God would keep his hand on them. And that the CT scan on Tuesday would bring good news. At this point I don't know what else to pray for; I know that God will bring us through it. I have been in contact with My sister off and on today. She tries very hard to be brave and only cries when she is by herself. She needs peace. Thank you.

K.W.--Richard - had a stroke/TIA on Monday, tests showed clogged artery on Tuesday and he is on his way to hospital in Austin (A friend of the West & Lewis families). Alex - tore a muscle in his arm or it may be broken; on his way to CTMC emergency room Tuesday afternoon.

C.J.--Blessed to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniv. Thankful for Connection Church's community involvement.
K.R.--Mr. Floria to get better and heal quickly.
A.R.--That I will be able to practice w/Mrs. Z and that I won't hurt myself during volleyball season. For the puppet convention next week.
D.&L.M.--Pray for Larisa's parents' visitor visa interview on Sept. 1st that the visas would be approved.
M.P.--That my phone wouldn't be used or found by a stranger.
S.D.L-J--Lift up the Florias for the stressful situation; they are going through. Pray for healing in Bram's brain throughout his body. Pray for Aaron's coworkers that found their fellow coworker's body in his home.

A.W.--Tim went to school with me. He drove his car into the river & broke his skull and neck and is bleeding on his brain. Thursday night he was in surgery for 4 hours.
M.W.--Praise God for the heart of so many loving people. Pray forAunt Bea, as she mourns the passing of her 2nd son. Pray for my dtr & family who traveling in Colorado. Pray for RAIN! Pray for my neighborhood & homeowners assn as we take on mgmt. company (lots of people are behind in dues)

MW--Please pray for Henrietta; she is a new friend from my art class. She was just diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her breast. Also, pray for O'Nelda, someone from my hometown, who also has cancer. Pray for newborn Aaron, who is going to be feeding on his own for the first time. Pray for Robert's family, also in my hometown. Their son hung himself.

Week of Aug. 3rd 2009

• Sandi M: VICTOR WAS RUSHED TO EMERGENCY SURGERY @ CTMC SAN MARCOS AFTER HE WENT TO ER WITH STOMACH PAIN, TURNS OUT HIS APPENDIX WAS INFLAMED AND NEAR BURST HE WAS RUSHED INTO EMERGENCY SURGERY WHERE IT WAS REMOVED AND IS IN FAIR CONDITION AT THIS POINT. DUE TO HIM BEING IN LIVER FAILURE ANY SEEMINGLY SMALL SURGERY TURNS BIG WHEN IT IS ON HIM. PRAYER REQUEST FOR HIM .
• Karen: Be glad to. Also my Son's girlfriend's Grandfather was rushed to the hospital yesterday in Tennesse. He had a stroke; his name is Hobbert; pray that he will make a full recovery and that the doctors will be able to figure out the whats & whys of this. Thank you.
• M.W.--Pray also for Steve, Teresa's father. He also had a stroke last night (in San Antonio). Teresa attends our church.
