• Trey W.--My mom is in the ER in Denver with a stomach virus. She was dehydrated and couldn’t even stand up this morning. She is in a lot of pain and running a high fever, possibly due to an infected cut on her foot (probably diabetes-related, and something she was ignoring).
  
  Would you please pray for her? Specifically for the pain to subside and for the fever to go down so that she can go home today. She and my dad do not have health insurance, so there is extra stress added in there as well. Thanks, Trey

Maria O.--Please pray for my mother-in-law, Elizabeth Ojeda who lives in Del Rio. She has been sick for a couple of weeks with swelling of her legs and her stomach, she was sent to the ER in San Antonio with high blood pressure and after test were done the doctors told her she has serosis of the liver and her kidneys are not functioning right. She will be having a liver biopsy this friday to find out more information and figure out what's going on. Please pray for the doctors and nurses who will be helping her and for Elizabeth's faith to continue to be strong in this difficult time. Thank you.

  Maggie W.--Our grandson, Aaron, collapsed on the beach at the coast Saturday from dehydration. He was unconscious and suffered several seizures. He could have drowned had he collapsed in deeper water where he was just prior, but God was faithful, and he surrounded him with lifeguards and he was rushed to the hospital. After lab tests were normal, he was allowed to come home.
  
  Please keep him in prayer; he is 10 and still quite traumatized (and so are his parents and sister) from the whole incident and very much afraid. He goes to see his doctor today.
  
  So, I am Praising God today for His Wonderful Grace !!!
• Elida R.> Update on Eddie B.--I called Krista yesterday and she said Eddie was coming along. He is dealing with the pain nicely. Can't stand too long cause of the veins they removed from his leg/legs (don't know if one or two). He is healing slowly from the open heart surgery but doing ok. Another Praise to God for His mercy and grace!!! Will keep you updated when I hear.
• Jennifer & Trey W.--From our friends Scott & Tami: "We found out on Saturday that Scott's dad (Caleb) is in stage 3 pancreatic cancer, and they are giving him 3 to 6 months to live. He goes in on Wed. to see if it has spread to any other organs--if it has not, they will start chemo. If it already has, it is too late to try anything. If you will continue to keep him and the family in your prayers, it would be greatly appreciated."

• Michelle Fulbright (a friend of Jennifer W)--I just received a phone call from my oldest brother John telling me that they rushed our dad to Hermann Memorial last night after he fell and my brother found him on the floor at 3:00a. He said we almost lost him last night BUT FOR GOD!!!!! The ambulance stabilized him and admitting him to the hospital. They're running tests now, so I'm waiting to here back from my siblings on his condition.
  
  Would you please pray for our family throughout today and thank you in advance for doing so because we know PRAYER CHANGES THINGS & GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL. Thanks so much!!!

Update: The Barnes Family--
Good Morning All! His Mercies are truly made new every morning! Our praise is unexplainable - Terah is feeling much better & Jordan sounds very happy.JOhn got good rest last night. He feels ALOT better this morning; his headache and aches are next to nothing, especially compared to yesterday. He has an appetite and asked to be taken off of bed rest so that he can take a shower; Even the doctor looked shocked at his progress.We explained that he had tons of people praying for him! He is being taken off of his morphine drip and will only had the self-button for pain.The doctor said that we won't have to lab preliminaries until tomorrow - PLEASE pray that we get those results and the final today! It would be awesomefor JOhn to continue this incredible improvement and be able to be released by tomorrow but it sounds like they want all lab cultures back before theyrelease him and at this point it sounds like Sat. would be the very earliest (IN THEIR opinion). John is still sleeping alot (which is great) but he flows in and out of conciousness. -PRAISE!!!!!We have been blessed beyond measure and in awe from the encouragement and love that we have received during this time. God HAS moved mountains and met our every need. He has made streams in the desert. The body of Christ has truly been a testimony and modeled Christ to our family by being the hands and feet of God.Our church family and friends here have been so gracious in calls,emails and visits; they are gathering Sat. to pack/load the moving truck. Our new church has served and supported us beyond expression as well; they have helped take care of moving/storage details and our equipping pastor is flying here with another brother to drive the moving truckto Weatherford, TX. When John is released from the hospital, we will fly home together and God has provided flights home through a voucher John's dad had. PLEASE continue to PRAY for the purchase of a home in Weatherford-We heard yesterday from the realtor that we will here about our offer on the home today.There is another small issue with the broker that we are expecting God to move in as well...he knows the need and is in control. I've never done this kind of update thing, so I am trying to provide alot of details as many of you are far away and/or I just can't answer the many calls in order to talk to everyone.I hope that I have communicated in ALL of the craziness going on...Thanks again - we love you all.   To Family, Friends and prayer warriors: God has truly done an incredible work in our lives over the past two weeks. He has answered prayers for direction and guidance as we sought His will for ministry and His place for our family. We have committed to a wonderful body in Weatherford, TX -Trinity Bible Church; We love the staff and feel unified in vision with them. God opened the door for a place for Terah at Trinity Christian Academy, which was exciting for us as well. We have also felt led to put an offer on a home in Weatherford and will know the outcome by Wed. *** We headed back to Colorado in order to transition and move our belongings to TX yesterday (Tuesday). John started feeling like he had a 'sinus' headache and like he had stiff muscles (from the drive, he assumed) around 2p.m. He took some Aleve and we just prayed and continued the trip. We had a safe trip and arrived in CO at approx. 11p.m. Around 2a.m. John woke up with such acute pain that he was shaking and said that he needed to go to the hospital. After extensive tests they diagnosed John with having Viral Menangitus /at this point they believe it was caused by a mesquito bite carrying West Nile Virus. He has been admitted into the hospital and at this point he has started a viral pack, antibiotics, and he is on morphine for the pain which they said can be intense for the next few days. Our Great Physician is able to do far more than a prediction; so we are expecting God for great things in order for JOhn to be healed and out of pain. Our children are in TX with their grandparents and are doing well though it is hard to be seperated from them and Terah is healing from an inner ear infection (from swimming on July 4th). Please just pray...we know that God has his hand on the whole deal - He is faithful and our Lord has provided and moved so mountains for us in this time of transition. We just desire to stand firm in him, rebuke the enemy and be obedient and faithful to our savior! As I say that I look at my awesome husband laying in a bed and I just love him so much. I need an extra measure of wisdom to move forward and make the decisions that need to be made regarding the plans that were in place to come here and take care of a number of things regarding the move to Texas. • Elida--Please pray for Eddie Blakley. Right now all we know is that he is in the hospital with pain in his left arm, chest pain and is having trouble breathing. They are keepinghim overnight and are going to run more tests and give him a stress test in the morning. Krista said the pain started in the second service at Cypress Creek Church. He was playingand continued until done but couldn't drive home. He's our trooper. Just keep him in yourthoughts and prayers. Thank you

• Krista--Just wanted to let you know that Eddie is still in the hospital tonight. His bloodwork has shown that he had a small heart attack on Sunday morning and they are doing a heart catheterization tomorrow morning (Tuesday) to try to determine the cause. If they determine that he has a blockage and needs any procedure such as a stent, they'll transfer him tomorrow to the Heart Hospital in Austin. He's doing fine, just a little weak, partially because of all the meds and blood thinners they keep giving him. Everything is cool here, though.

• Cookie & Joe W.--I just talked to my mother-in-law and got an update on Markum. His pediatrician has diagnosed him as having a severe asthma attack. He has been having breathing treatments through out the day and will spend at least 1 more night in the hospital, possibly two nights. They are trying to figure out what meds he can take at home without having to have an IV.
  
  We so appreciate all the prayers . . . they are being felt.
